
| Steven R. Ramsey, 42, of Casper died April 29, 1990, at his home of complications resulting from injuries received in an accident at the Wyodak Power Plant in 1988. Mr. Ramsey was born April 21, 1948, in Thermopolis to Garland Alan and Francis Elizabeth Maple Ramsey. He attended schools in Thermopolis. After graduating from high school, Mr. Ramsey enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1966 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his discharge, he returned to Thermopolis. He moved to Casper and attended Casper College. On June 4, 1978, he married Judy Ann Cornella in Casper. Mr. Ramsey had worked as a pipefitter for the 14 years in the Casper area through Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local No. 183. He also owned a small farm with his father in Casper. Survivors include his wife; his father, Garland of Casper; his mother, Elizabeth Stovall of Thermopolis; one son, Brent Allen of Casper, one daughter, Mandi Lorene of Casper; two brothers, Dave of Thermopolis and Danny of Casper; two sisters, Cindy Casciato of Worland and Starla Kramer of Lodge Grass, Mont.; stepmother, Carol Ramsey of Casper; and stepfather, Mel Stovall of Thermopolis. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jerome Neil; |
grandparents, Bryon and Eva Ramsey and Ray and Della Mae Maple; and
an aunt, Ruth Ramsey. Funeral services were held May 4 at the First
Baptist Church, Thermopolis, with Pastor Fred Stroud and Rev. Jon Eldridge
officiating. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery (Riverside
Cemetery).
