FUNERAL HELD FOR WARREN C. AXTELL
    Funeral services for Warren Clifford Axtell, 34, were held Tuesday morning, Feb. 16 at Mortimore Chapel.  Father George Parmeter, pastor of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, officiated.  Burial was in Monument Hill Cemetery.
    Mr. Axtell died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound which occurred Saturday night, Feb. 13 at his home at 1130 Arapahoe.
    He was born Oct. 29, 1947 in Denver, Colo. to Paul and Luanna (Cover) Axtell.  He grew up and attended schools in Thermopolis.  In 1971, he graduated in agriculture from the University of Wyoming.  He married Debbie Korkow on Aug. 26, 1972 in Hanna.
 
 
 
   
    Mr. Axtell was a member of the University of Wyoming Alumni Association, Wyoming Stockgrowers, and the Farm Bureau.  He was also a member of the Episcopal Church.
    Surviving are his wife, a son, Warren Paul and two daughters, Dianne and Darlene Axtell.  He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Sadie Nickelsen and paternal grandmother, Clare Axtell, both of Thermopolis.
    A memorial fund will be established by the family.
    Pallbearers were Tom Gennings, Jim Gamberg, Doug Richardson, Wayne Simpson, Robbie Myers and Jim Garrelts.
